The latest season of Big Brother Africa, dubbed Big Brother All Stars this year has pitted some of the most scheming, fascinating and experienced characters that were previously featured in the past four seasons.
This time around they all claim that they are focused on winning the pot of gold, valued at USD 200 000 which eluded them the first time around.
Sheila (Kenya) is one of those who claims that she is so determined to win, that she came into the house wearing a celibacy ring.
Kanye born Kaone Ramontshonyana, is back again in the house representing the country. When it was revealed that he would be representing the country for the second time around, fans of Big Brother Africa expressed mixed feelings about him.
Speaking during the launch, on Sunday, Lebogang Motubudi said Ramontshonyana was the right choice to make the country proud.
“He is great and a colourful individual. He now has a chance to closely look at where he went wrong and improve,” said Motubudi.
“All my energy is for him. I also like Sheila, she has the ability to irritate and be beautiful,” he said.
According to Pauline Letsatle, it is exciting to see Ramontshonyana back in the house. She said that Ramontshonyana went out unfairly the last time he was in the house.
“The whole of Africa was behind him. I was hoping that either Ramontshonyana or Warona would represent the country,” she said.
She also said Ramontshonyana was a charmer and helpful around the house.
“I think that he will last for a long time and might even win.
The fact that he has other housemates who were in Big Brother Revolution with him such as Paloma, Jen and Yacob could work for him.  I think that they will form a good relationship,” she said.
“Ramontshonyana should look out for Mwisho who came close to winning the first season. He didn’t win because Cherise had a sad story. Mwisho is the biggest threat,” she explained.
But according to one gentleman who wanted to remain anonymous, Ramontshonyana is not the right person who will bring home the prize money.
“He is not a good choice because he is not laidback. I was hoping that they would bring back Warona. I am frustrated by the choice,” he said. In his profile, Ramontshonyana explained that he dislikes, what he said is, judging the book by its cover.
“It can make one miss the gold, people always make the wrong conclusions,” he said.
He highlights his good qualities as thinking, wordsmith, poet, fashion designing and people skills.
His new strategy in Big Brother All Stars is to be the last man standing and be more serious about wanting to win and trusting other housemates less.
“I would like my Big Brother experience to be financially motivating, fun, crazy, adventurous and unforgettable,” he said.
